Let’s be real, sometimes life is just plain unfair. Watching my son face challenges he didn’t choose, I’ve had moments of asking, “Why us, God?” And maybe you’ve been there too.
Here’s what I’ve learned about keeping faith strong when the ground feels shaky:
- Be honest with God. He can handle our questions, tears, and frustrations. Prayer isn’t about being polished; it’s about being real.
- Look for small graces. Even in hospital rooms and long nights, I’ve seen glimpses of God’s love… a nurse who went the extra mile, a friend who texted right on time, a burst of laughter from Jace.
- Stay rooted in the Word. When emotions overwhelm me, Scripture becomes my anchor. Verses like Isaiah 41:10 remind me I’m not alone: “Fear not, for I am with you…”
Faith doesn’t make life suddenly fair, but it does remind me that I’m never walking through the unfairness alone.
